My 50th Birthday, or as My Hair Calls It, Day of the Dead
Tomorrow I turn 50. Not a big deal to me, as my old American History teacher Nick Adzick used to say, “Age is just a single, double or triple digit number.” About a year ago, I did come to one major decision: 50 is a good time to let go of my ponytail. It’s been with me almost half my life now, but in recent years has gotten noticeably smaller. Yes that male baldness gene is alive and well in the Marx clan. So before I became one of those pathetic guys with a strand of hair in a hair band (and no, Cecile, despite what you say I’m not there yet), I figured it was time to just cut it off. We’ll be live streaming the event at http://new.livestream.com/accounts/8319151/events/2968519 starting at around 3:25 Eastern time, the rest of you can do the math for yourselves. Haven’t used lifestream.com before, but everything seems set up properly, so hopefully it will all work out ok. Hope to see you there.
