And they’re branching out.
Yes, after a week of thinking we were in the clear, the last two days have indicated that the fleas ignored our offer to die and leave us in peace. First, yesterday Cecile thought she was noticing a couple of bites. Then this morning Joel gave us the bad news as he was getting dressed and as Cecile was taking a full inventory of the damage. And after talking with some people at work, it seems this is just a Chile thing; there may be some things we get to avoid (freezing weather and snow), but there’s a reason every place we looked at had multiple cans of raid in the cabinets.
Today was not a fun day, and tomorrow won’t be any better, because I have to do our room also.
So enjoy a flower picture from the walk Joel & I took yesterday. It’s a fuchsia, which Cecile of course knew, brilliant woman that she is. Really, I mean she’s a FULBRIGHT SCHOLAR after all.
